Tourists visit the age-old residential houses built by clay in Mazar Village, an old village in Turpan, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, on November 6. Mazr Village maintains entirely the oldest tradition and folk custom of the local Uygur ethnic group, attracting many travelers.




The second China Beijing International Cultural & Creative Industry Expo was kicked off at Beijing International Exhibition Center on November 8, attracting more than 1,300 enterprises and organizations from the U.S., U.K., Japan, Korea, Russia, Australia, Holland, and China. The exhibition covers more than ten categories including broadcasting & movies, museums, city sculptures, sports industry, tourism products, art galleries, and animation and games.



Just being naturally thin may raise risk of osteoporosis in women
Young women who are constitutionally thin, or naturally severely thin, may have impaired bone quality and be at increased risk for osteoporosis, according to a new study released Thursday in the online edition of The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, a publication of the U.S. Endocrine Society.
